Panda's Coy Tail

When talking about giant pandas, people will think up their adorable faces, black-and-white skin and their clumsy movement. But can you think up how giant pandas’ tail looks likes? Look at these pictures and you will find out the answer.


This is a picture of a new-born panda cub. You can tell that its tail takes up one fourth of its body.

As pandas grow up, their body become magnificent weighting 80 to 120 kilograms and reaching the length of 1.2 to 1.8 meters. But their tails take up less than one tenth of their bodies. That is why people seldom notice their tails. 

 One more thing to remember , their tails are white.
